• Ron Lewis

    Senior Pastor

For 30 years, Ron's passion has been telling the story of God and connecting others to that story. Ron grew up in Orlando, Florida, regularly attending Pine Hills Christian Church (the same church in which his wife Pam was raised). During his last two years of high school, he began to feel the tug of ministry on his heart. After graduating from Atlanta Christian College (ACC - now Point University), Ron briefly worked at ACC as the Director of Student Recruitment. His first preaching ministry was with First Christian Church of Mobile, Alabama, from 1984 to 1990. In 1990, Ron moved his family from Mobile to Houston, Texas, where he was blessed to serve as Senior Pastor at Cy-Fair Christian Church for 21 years before answering God's call to Lanett.

Ron and Pam have been married for 31 years. Together they have a son, Nathan, who is married to Sarah. Nathan and Sarah live in West Point, Georgia, and they recently welcomed their son, Bennett James, into the family. Ron and Pam are greatly enjoying their new grandson!

Ron is involved in designing and producing teaching liturgy videos as part of the team at “The Work of the People,” a media company that produces visual media for missions and worship. He is also an active leader and speaker with Central India Christian Mission Youth Conference in Damoh, India, as well as Lake Aurora Christian Camp Men’s Retreat; additionally, he has designed and led pastor conferences for over 300 church leaders in the Southern Philippines.

Ron’s heart can best be understood in his own words: “We live in a world that is achingly beautiful and awesomely ugly. The question for the people of God is how we live in that tension. My passion in life is to creatively communicate and live out the Gospel in such a way that God’s redemptive touch is felt in that tension within the life of the Church.”

    minister of worship & discipleship

Michael has been on staff as Worship Pastor at Spring Road since June 2006. He was born and raised as a pastor's kid near Athens, Georgia, and graduated from Atlanta Christian College in 1992 with a B.A. in Christian Ministries. After graduating, Michael worked a REACH intern through Christian Missionary Fellowship with a new work in Benin, West Africa. Upon returning to the States, he enrolled at Fuller Theological Seminary where he earned a M.A. in Theology. Michael served in student ministry, worship ministry, and as Associate Pastor for 14 years at Christ's Church at Whitewater in Fayetteville, Georgia, where he met and married his wife Emily. Emily is a great teammate in worship leadership as she sings and plays acoustic, electric, and bass guitar as well as violin. She is also one of our counselors on staff at Restore Counseling Center.

Michael and Emily have been married for 18 years and have three boys -- Jordan, Ethan, and Brennan -- and joyfully find themselves immersed in homework; soccer, baseball, and football games; golf; mountain biking; and refereeing sibling skirmishes. Michael loves the gym, reading, music, teaching the Bible, travel, and spending time with his family.

In May of 2016, Michael completed his D.Min. in Christian Ministry and Leadership through BIOLA University, and teaches as an adjunct professor at Point University. As a discipleship minister, Michael emphasizes living life with eternity in mind and the courage granted to us as Christ walks alongside us every day. As Frederich Beuchner writes, "Here is the world. Terrible and beautiful things will happen. Do not be afraid. I am with you."

  • nathan lewis

    student minister

Nathan's ministry at Spring Road focuses on high school and middle school students. He graduated in 2006 from Dallas Christian College with his B.A. in Bible and Youth/Family Ministry. Nathan worked briefly at First Christian Church of Canadian, Texas, where he gained invaluable experience as the Interim Youth Pastor. He has been married to his beautiful wife Sarah since May of 2010. They had their first child, Bennett, in September of 2015.

Nathan enjoys great stories, which explains his draw to movies and books. He also enjoys playing golf and other activities that enable him to be outdoors. Nathan and Sarah both are incredibly excited to be at SRCC where they can pour into the lives of our youth. Their passion lies in showing them the amazing grace poured out to us all from Christ. “If His grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking!”

  • natalie braden

    college minister

Natalie's passion for college students began literally at birth. She was born in Auburn, Alabama, where her parents started a campus ministry, Auburn Christian Fellowship. Her baby nursery was actually in the campus house among the students. Since then, she has remained passionate for the Lord and Christian community. Growing up at Southwest Christian Church in East Point, Georgia, along with intentional parents, Natalie's love for ministry never wavered. She graduated from Point University (Atlanta Christian College) in 2004 with a double major in Biblical Studies and Humanities. While at Point, she served in youth ministry for four years at Southwest Christian Church. She also had the opportunity to do a REACH internship during the summer of 2002 in Ethiopia, which ignited her passion for missions. After graduating, she attempted Campus Ministry at Georgia Southern Christian Campus Fellowship for two years and fell in love with college ministry. She then worked as an assistant campus minister at Georgia Tech Christian Campus Fellowship where she met her husband, Robert Braden. Together they were called to Birmingham, England; from 2007 to 2011, they and a team of others launched "Canvas," a CMF Globalscope Campus Ministry. Robert and Natalie married in 2008 and started their family, which now includes four wonderful sons -- Benjamin, Everett, Charlie, and Luke.

Natalie is passionate about college students meeting the real and relevant Jesus through the unique community that comes from college-age ministry. In addition to spending life loving on "her babies" (the college student kind and her natural ones), Natalie enjoys art, books, coffee, traveling, and just living life with people she loves.

  • alycia irmiter

    children's minister

Alycia graduated in 2014 from Point University, earning a B.S. in Child and Youth Development. She worked as a FLI resident in the children's ministry here at Spring Road, and this is where she discovered how much she loved it! After finishing college, Alycia moved back to her home city of Covington, Georgia, to be a teacher. She and her husband Daniel were married in 2015, and in June of 2016 they moved back to Lanett. God then led her to accept the position of children's ministry director at SRCC in August.

Alycia and Daniel bought their first home here in Lanett, and together they have two dogs...Neville and Maggie. Alycia enjoys being with family, trying new foods, being outside, and exercising.

Alycia's goal in her ministry is that every child is treated with love and care, knowing that they are all created in God's image. She shares this thought: When you open the door to Jesus, you open the door to everyone He loves and everywhere He takes you.

  • lynda johnson

    office manager

Lynda moved to Lanett in August of 2012 after her husband Rick accepted God’s call to the headmaster position at Springwood School. She believes this is definitely part of their journey of faith and is looking forward to everything He has planned for them to do.

Lynda was born and raised in the Twin-City area of Minnesota. After graduating from high school and attending three semesters of college, she married Rick in 1983 and joined him in ministry. Fourteen years later as a wife and mother of three children, she earned her bachelor’s degree. She is grateful for opportunities to have worked in several different settings including church, school, university, and hospital. Her primary passion is helping with vocals and keys in leading worship…"God is the King of the universe, and His music should be the best!" Lynda also volunteers at Sav-A-Life, one of SRCC's local mission partners.

Rick and Lynda have three grown children. Chrysta is an event manager for the Family Research Council in Washington D.C. Eryk is a CPA/senior auditor at Nichols-Cauley in Atlanta, Georgia, and is engaged to be married to Elizabeth in July 2017. Dayna and her husband Andres are on mission planting a church in Portland, Oregon. There is one who still keeps Rick and Lynda company at home...their 9-pound pomeranian, Captain.

SRCC ELDERS

Throughout the New Testament, men were called by God to be servant leaders for His Church. We are grateful to have such a group of servants here at Spring Road. Our elders minister to many needs within the SRCC family, help to oversee the care and stewardship of our campus, and volunteer in various ministry areas. It is our hope that these servant leaders will provide an example of how we as the body of Christ can be His hands and feet to those in need -- spiritual or otherwise, whether they are followers of Jesus or people to whom we can make Him known.
